My intro to programming class in Fall 2011 consisted of coding and designing forms in Visual Basic. My favorite part of this class was designing the user interfaces. Back then, there wasn't formalized user research conducted that drove my design decisions, just raw thinking and placing objects where I thought made most sense. Below are some Microsoft Paint wireframes (I know right?!) that I had to create for our final deliverables. My goals of clarity and comprehensiveness definitely stand out in these wireframes.
In Spring 2013, I took an Objective-C Class. Again, not big on the back-end stuff, but loved designed the user interface. I've DEFINITELY come a long way in terms of visual design. These were designed in X-Code.
I created a poster for a public art proposal in downtown National City, CA. I used InDesign to create this poster.
